EUFruitBasket at Fruit Attraction 2026: Strengthening Connections in the Fresh Produce Sector
EUFruitBasket successfully participated in Fruit Attraction 2026, held from 6 to 8 October at IFEMA Madrid, marking its third and final participation in one of the leading international trade fairs for the fresh produce sector.
The 2026 edition welcomed more than 121.000 industry professionals from over 150 countries, bringing together approximately 2.500 exhibiting companies and confirming the exhibition’s international significance. Throughout the three-day event, the EUFruitBasket stand at Pavilion 3 – Stand 3C14 welcomed visitors from the international fruit industry, showcasing Greek peaches, nectarines and kiwifruit alongside Spanish kaki.
Visitors had the opportunity to discover the quality, freshness and high production standards of European fruits. Representatives of ASEPOP Velventou and the Spanish Association of Kaki (AEKAKI) actively participated in the exhibition, holding B2B meetings with buyers, importers, distributors and other industry professionals. These meetings provided valuable opportunities to exchange market insights, strengthen business relationships and explore potential future collaborations.
The program’s participation generated positive interest among visitors and industry professionals, contributing to the visibility of European fruits and reinforcing the campaign’s key messages on quality, food safety and the importance of fresh fruit consumption as part of a balanced diet.
As the program’s final participation at Fruit Attraction, the 2026 edition marked a successful conclusion to three years of presence at the exhibition, building on the professional connections and opportunities developed throughout the campaign.
